Norton Releases "Crash Guard" for Windows 95

Few things are more upsetting than having hours of work go down the drain because of a computer glitch. Those frustrations can start becoming a thing of the past, or at least we all hope so, with Norton Crash Guard.

Symantec/Norton (the makers of Norton Anti-Virus and Norton Utilities) has put together a powerful yet extremely discreet and simple software which protects you from a very wide range of problem-causing computer errors. “Crash Guard”, with it’s special “Anti-Freeze” technology intercepts errors in time for you to save your information and either fix the problem or simply close the program where the error occurred. While Crash Guard is designed for Windows 95, it also protects older applications from crashing in a Windows 95 environment.

While this software is a must for all computer users, Norton states that the primary users will most likely be business users who rely heavily on a PC running Windows 95 to get their work done. According to the Norton “They are typically busy people to whom time is money, and having to recreate lost work is a waste of both.”
